JOB SUMMARY

Working under direct supervision, provides routine day-to-day financial, operational, and administrative support for the Global Corporate Finance team. Assists in coordination of Actuals/ Forecast/Budget/Long Range Plan, process improvement, systems and other functions enabling the team to meet objectives in an effective and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyses forecast and budget reports to maintain expense controls. Prepares commentary and explanation of variances for management review

Coordinates forecast and budget preparation. Researches and collects input from multiple internal and external resources.

Assist in driving technological enhancements across the team, including automating reporting and data collection, data visualization and continuously look to improving processes.

Completes complex analysis of KPIs and financial data, of present, past, future operations, trends, and costs, estimated and realized revenues.

Compiles a variety of operating, financial and statistical information as needed to respond to management requests. Coordinates work with other departments. May add commentary to complete analysis reports and proposals.

Assists in communication of best practices, policies, procedures, and initiatives to support financial operations. Helps to facilitate process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution.

Assists in systems administration for specialized software utilized by the team to support its operations (TM1). Researches and resolves routine support issues. Follows-up to ensure open issues are resolved.

Troubleshoots and resolves simple inquiries and requests from internal clients.

Reviews and monitors department processes and procedures to identify opportunities to improve service delivery to internal customers.

Performs other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May lead project teams and/or plan staff assignments. Duties may encompass technical guidance and/or training of co-workers as well as policy development and participation in special initiatives such as modeling, system implementations or acquisition integrations. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a college or university in a business/finance related field plus a minimum of three to five years related experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately explain/report activity. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to independently research complex accounting transactions/issues. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as TM1, Cognos Analytics, Power BI. Knowledge of investment management industry and terminology is helpful. Strong work ethic and adaptable. Good attitude and team player.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
