The Position

Reporting to the CFO, you will work with the broader business focusing on providing analytics and insightful reporting to the leadership group and operational management. You will form part of a tight knit finance team and play a key part in contributing to the ongoing success of core business through insightful analytical reporting.

This is a fantastic opportunity whereby you will gain access to the executive leadership team with the ability to drive performance through detailed analysis and reporting. Success in the role will be achieved by being able to engage and communicate transparently with stakeholders up and down whilst also having the ability to understand the numbers and tell the story.

Key Responsibilities

• Extracting data from various platforms for analysis purposes
• Manipulate and interrogate data to identify most relevant information for analysis and reporting
• Build the story around the numbers through analysis
• Monthly analysis of actual data versus forecasted numbers to enable refinement of future planning
• Provide a raft of analytics around operational areas of the business, customer and pricing analytics, market & competitor insights, benchmarking assessment and financial analysis
• Assess new business case opportunities including pricing mechanisms and due diligence requirements
• Provide the CFO with support across financial modelling and business wide improvement recommendations
• Prepare insightful reports using Technology One, Power BI and other systems to present to the broader business

Skills and Experience

• Degree in business, commerce or relevant field
• Highly analytical mindset with the ability to tell a story with the numbers
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• High level attention to detail, strong critical analysis capability and an ability to think strategically
