Robert Half is partnered with a leading tech firm who is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to their team. This is a full time permanent position that offers a hybrid/remote working arrangement. The ideal Financial Analyst will be in progress of obtaining their CPA Designation and will be responsible for;

• Budgeting, forecasting and performing gross margin analysis
• Work with the accounting team to support the Month End and Year End close process
• Complete monthly account reconciliations
• Process month end journal entries and accruals
• Monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

Requirements

• 2+ year's general accounting experience
• Post secondary education in accounting, finance or business related
• Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
• Advanced MS Excel skills; knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc.
• Working knowledge of ERP system
• Preference will be given to candidates who are in the CPA program
