My Client

My client is a well-known player in their market who have been operating in New Zealand for a number of years. Due to a period of change, growth and development they ae currently in the market for a Financial Accountant to support the business through the next 6 months.

The Contract

This role’s main focus will be to support the year end statutory reporting, engaging with the auditors and taking on some ad-hoc project work. Whilst the organisation is not complex there are group accounts to be reconciled and included in the year end.

Included will be:

• Debtor factoring, secured loans
• Finance covenants compliance
• Accounting for operating leases
• Supporting Key Stakeholders with financial queries
• Insurance (property, equipment)
• Budgeting and Forecasting, etc.

About You

You will be CA Qualified with over 3 years post qualification experience, strong IFRS and knowledge of working in large ERP systems. You will have a professional hard-working attitude, experience working in a professional environment with a down to earth team.
