Our client is a household brand with a fantastic culture based on the North Shore. They have been really supportive of flexible working throughout Covid and are looking for someone to come in support their Financial Accounting team.

A little bit about the role

This role covers the core Financial Accounting aspects and you will be quite hands-on, reporting in to the Financial Controller.

You will mainly be supporting on an IFRS16 Leases project they are running at the moment.

Experience in large, complex or listed businesses is desirable while IFRS16 experience would be a major advantage it is not a prerequisite. If you have demonstrable experience of implementing other accounting standards. 

 A little bit about you

You're ideally CA/CPA qualified who is able to start in the next week or two.

You are either coming from your first or second role in the commercial space coming from a practice background. 

Whats on offer?

This role is gap cover while they appoint the right person permanently. For the right person there is a full time role available, equally if you prefer contracting or just wish to fill a few months before heading overseas this could be ideal.

Hourly rate will be c.$50-70 depending on expeirence.
