A leader in the Financial Services Sector, this is a client we have dealt with a number of times before and always had great feedback from candidates with many happy to extend their contracts.

A little bit about the role

This role covers core financial accounting and you will be quite hands-on with the existing Financial Accounting team.

You will mainly be supporting on an IFRS17 implementation project working closely with the Financial Accounting and systems teams to ensure everything flows smoothly.

Experience in large, complex or listed businesses is desirable while IFRS17 experience would be a major advantage it is not a prerequisite. If you have demonstrable experience of implementing other accounting standards or worked in Insurance/Financial Services either in NZ or overseas. 

 A little bit about you

You're ideally CA/CPA qualified who is able to start in the next week or two.

You are either coming from your first or second role in the commercial space coming from a practice background. 

The role can be flexible to suit your experience (to an extent) so the client is open to those who might have just qualified CA or potentially a senior project accountant ready to drop straight in.

Whats on offer?

This role is part of a long term project so will be an initial 12 months.

It will be salaried anywhere from $110-135k for the right person.
