It is an exciting time for the Finance department as they embark on the implementation of a new Finance System and have selected ‘Oracle Netsuite’ as its supplier. This  is why we are looking to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant to support the implementation and manage the Administration of the new system once Live. 

This provides an ideal opportunity to contribute to the early design and configuration of the new system, and to be involved at all stages of the implementation - thus building valuable experience prior to taking full responsibility.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsibility for day-to-day maintenance of NetSuite. Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving internal T1 system issues liaising with NetSuite Support to achieve quick resolutions whilst working with the finance team to ensure timely closure & communication.

• Add and manage users and provision roles and data access sets based on organisation-defined data security policies. 

• Build custom roles by tailoring NetSuite seeded roles as per the business requirement.

• Maintaining System based Delegation of Authorities and any approval limit allocations / changes. 

• Review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. 

• Update and maintain NetSuite System Documentation and Finance Process Taxonomy including managing any change request process. Ongoing user training and upskilling.

• Open/Close Netsuite Ledgers. Support for all Periodic Close Activities and Audits.

• Installing, configuring and maintaining software updates, managing Interfaces and liaising with IT (Technology) and Netsuite on any change requests / enhancements / updates / performance issues.

• Work with Internal Staff, Other 3rd Party vendors and Netsuite to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules and other planned outages.

• Maintain NetSuite data integrity, item and entity records. Ensuring functionality and quality of all data entry facilities (CSV imports, Master Data Tables, Transaction forms & templates.

• Creating metrics to measure the effectiveness of the system. Monitoring and communicating system performance metrics with internal staff, Netsuite and 3rd party vendors as required to resolve any issues.

What are we looking for:

• Qualified Accountant

• Administration of Oracle Netsuite

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role ideally with a finance focus

• Finance System Implementation

• Master Data Management

• Data Cleansing

• Data Migration

• Software Testing

• If not a qualified Accountant, then a good level of experience in a variety of finance operational roles.

• Good understanding of Master Data concepts and relational Databases

• Finance Report writing

• Understanding of data, security, and legal governance processes.
