We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our growing Financial Operations team alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially minded rockstars. This permanent, full-time opportunity will have you overseeing the internal finance team for one of BlueRock’s office groups and supporting our many advisory divisions in the strategy and day to day management of their businesses. The Finance Manager will mentor the Financial Operations team, developing and implementing leading edge solutions across a range of financial functions, including reporting frameworks, financial modelling and analysis, technical compliance, corporate governance and commercial strategy.
What you’ll be doing
Operational delivery of financial and commercial support across our office, supporting the broader firm’s strategy to achieve sustainable financial growth and profitability
Mentor and coach direct reports, supporting their personal and professional development, and working closely with the Finance Supervisor to manage team workflow
Coordinating and managing the delivery of end of month Divisional financial reports and developing interactive management reporting packs, including Power BI dashboards and datasets
Overseeing the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for all divisions within the office reporting group, as well as year-end reporting requirements
Contribute to the office reporting group’s strategies and growth ambitions, including setting targets and metrics to ensure the firm is on track to deliver its strategic vision and plans to achieve sustainable financial growth and profitability
Establish and maintain effective accounting controls, systems, and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information and data

Requirements
We want to hear from people who have:
6+ yearss experience in an internal finance, audit, or management accounting role
Tech-savvy with advanced level in the full Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel - other reporting tools such as Power BI advantageous
Strong working knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and the reporting requirements for Australian companies
Strong working knowledge of the Australian Taxation System and the compliance requirements for Australian companies
Exposure to reporting and modelling tools and the ability to work with complex sets of data
