As our Finance Manager

As Financial Manager at GEEIQ you will be in charge of managing and optimising the day-to-day finance processes within the company, ensuring that we have timely and accurate data to drive our decision making. You will be building on and improving our day-to-day operations needed to keep the business running. As a scale-up, things move fast so you can expect your responsibilities to constantly be changing based on the business needs

As our Finance Manager, you will be working as part of a cross-functional team where you will be required to liaise closely with various departments across the company including HR, legal, client services, and other teams…

Responsibility for the day to day accounting operation including the following key tasks:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L key metric and variance analyses
  • Balance Sheet review and reconciliation
  • Debtor active management in line with Account Directors
  • Liaison with Traffic Director, Creatives, Influencers and Suppliers
  • VAT review and compliance
  • Reconciliation of Projects including client recharges
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Review weekly multicurrency payment run and responsibility for credit card management in a busy office
  • Managing and coordinating monthly reporting and budgeting in collaboration with FD

Your attributes and skills should include:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Prior experience at a fast paced start-up / scale-up
  • Excel and modelling (Intermediate / Advanced)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with wider team and external parties
  • Experience of AP and AR
  • Professional level study or newly qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Software experience : Xero
