In a nutshell
The Supply Chain and Logistics Finance Reporting team are responsible for overseeing the transformation of financial insight provided across all levels of the Supply Chain and Logistics division – from General Managers, Category Supply Managers and the Supply Chain and Logistics Leadership Team. This role will support transformation of reporting provided to Stakeholders ensuring reports are tailored to the User, easy to interpret at pace and enable maximisation of financial value in every decision made. The job holder will business partner across the wider Supply Chain and Logistics Finance team as well as into operational stakeholders to develop support in the development and strategy of each reporting stream.

What you need to do

  • Collaborate with Business Partners in the team on the design of a new suite of management reporting, ensuring it is fit for purpose, streamlined and aligns across the Supply Chain and Logistics division
  • Work in partnership with the Senior Finance Manager to align reporting timetables and format of outputs to produce robust and simple KPI reporting to Business Partnering team
  • Work closely with ADA to enable the maximum amount of report automation ensuring reporting is created in a manner that supports the objectives of the end users
  • Support the Finance Transformation programme, ensuring there is Supply Chain and Logistics representation  within the programme and support the success of the programme
  • Provide support and challenge within the team to develop best in class reporting outputs
  • Complete ad hoc / bespoke analysis for the business area as required to drive improvements
  • Supervise the Finance Analyst activity within the team to ensure business partnering deliverables are met to the required timescale and quality
  • Support the Business Partners reporting in key financial plans such as Budgets, Corporate Plan, Quarterly Forecasts and Latest Views as appropriate
  • Share relevant tools and lessons learnt with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders


What you need to know and show

  • Professional Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Experience of maintaining strong financial controls
  • Experience developing financial reporting across a range of quality and availability of input data
  • A desire to understand multiple business intelligence tools
  • Strong commercial acumen with a clear focus on driving excellent financial and commercial performance through provision of financial insight
  • Strong engagement, presentation, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player, able to work autonomously
  • Proven history of effective prioritisation and ability to push back when appropriate
  • Committed to driving change and comfortable with managing any associated conflicts

Directly or indirectly manages

  • Indirectly manages a team of 2 Finance Analysts
