Are you a confident, focused, & experienced  Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering major Finance business change and/or ERP implementation projects within a large organisation?  

The Future programme will drive change across the whole of the Asda organisation. The Finance function is going to experience big change but will also be integral to supporting the wider business with their transformation activities. We are looking to supplement the current Finance functional team with project management skills and experience to ensure that projects are successfully delivered on-time, in budget and in-line with the function's objectives.  

The Asda Finance team is c. 250 colleagues covering financial operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable. Record to report etc), commercial business partnering, financial planning and analysis, controllership, tax, treasury & pensions, internal audit and investor relations.

Your Role  

You will have established and proven project management skills, preferably with experience of Finance change programme and/or SAP implementation projects, in a demanding, dynamic, and fast paced environment. You will have exceptional business stakeholder, engagement, communications, and facilitation skills along with strong team leadership skills.   

You will have managed multiple projects simultaneously, and have had responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from scoping through to project completion/hand-off into business as usual operations. 

Alongside the project team you'll be responsible for proactively managing project risks and issues, building accurate project and resource plans, managing the business case and benefits realisation and communicating clearly and concisely with key stakeholders to update on progress & timelines.

About you   

• Previous experience in a project management role, preferably with SAP and/or Finance functional experience 
• Experience in operating in both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies 
• Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet demanding timelines in a fast- paced environment 
• Strong analytical, problem solving & facilitation skills 
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
• A can-do, open attitude, demonstrating agility, thought leadership and a desire to deliver results as part of a team
