We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner role based in Wellington CBD on an hourly rate contract for 4 months with a mid May start.

This role will require you to provide strategic advice supporting the organisation's business units strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have great relationship management experience, be a proven trusted advisor and have excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in the preparation and distribution of financial advice, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and relevant leadership teams.
• Support financial and operational decision making and management through the provision of timely and accurate information and business support.
• Ensure the accurate and effective delivery of financial budgeting and forecasting.
• Apply a strategic mindset to mitigate through issues and driving process improvements, leading to long term efficiencies.
• Work collaboratively and constructively with staff in your allocated portfolio and other staff to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Requirements:

• CA Qualification or Equivalent.
• Government Experience Desirable
• 4+ years relevant Senior Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering Experience.
