The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally organised and detailed Finance Business Partner to work closely with Division(s) of Sydney Metro to provide advice and guidance on financial, budget and funding management. The role provides reporting for input to Sydney Metro divisional and executive reporting and where relevant to TfNSW Cluster reporting.
A strong ability to develop budget and forecast with the stakeholders and manage multiple reporting deadlines will be key to supporting business outcomes.
Drawing on your experience in a large, complex, matrix organisation, as well as your relevant qualifications in accounting and commerce, you will communicate confidently and effectively, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and your team members.
You will contribute to the achievement of financial management business outcomes by participating and/or leading project teams driving business improvement projects and/or financial sustainability initiatives at a divisional and/or whole of Transport cluster level.

About you
You are tertiary qualified (Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline) with relevant industry experience, and full membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CPA/CA ANZ or equivalent).
You will have demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with business stakeholders as well as internal finance stakeholders in a dynamic matrix environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must as you will be presenting to Senior Stakeholders in this role.
Demonstrated achievement at a high level in management accounting including budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting in a large complex organisation.
Demonstrated achievement and expertise in financial management.
