We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Services team.    Reporting into the General Manager - Finance Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading a finance team to support our business unit in executing tactical and strategic decisions.  Key to your success is the application of strong business oriented commercial disciplines to ensure business units operates as a successful business, driving down costs and delivering the best commercial outcomes for Toll.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a finance team ensuring a standard of excellence with respect to integrity of data, timeliness of reporting, efficiency of procedures and a collaborative service orientated approach.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop, build robust business plans, forecasts and budgets.
  • Manage month end close including identification of accruals and prepayments in accordance with Toll’s month end close process.
  • Identify and track key financial and underlying operational performance trends and risk areas and work with business managers to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior management to provide decision support guided by detailed analysis within all areas of the business unit.
  • Develop and embed robust systems of control to mitigate business risk and provide commercial assurance

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar finance partnering role in large complex organisations
  • Extensive leadership of a large accounting/finance team
  • Demonstrated capability in delivering insightful reporting analytics
  • Experience in producing robust forecasting, budgeting and cash management reports, tools and procedures
  • Strong communication that enables stakeholder engagement and influencing 
  • Experience in Equipment, Logistics, Supply Chain highly advantageous
  • CPA/CA, or Bachelor Degree in Finance, accounting or commerce discipline
