What you’ll do:

• Process weekly payroll and allowances through TPH payroll (for some cast and crew)
• Raise invoices to account for production sales and recharges
• Validate invoices, checking approvals and enter payments
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet recs at month end
• For each upcoming drama, assisting in the set-up of the production software, payroll and banking facilities before handover to the production finance team
• Assist with the preparation and review of the statutory accounts for the Production SPV’s (separate legal entities) and the submission of year end/quarter end controls

What you’ll bring:

• Strong book-keeping skills (good knowledge of double entry) through to preparation of small company accounts
• A good understanding of the structure of account codes, purchase order processes, cost reporting and how to ensure there are strong segregation of duties in place.
• Experience of operating a weekly or monthly payroll and knowledge of the different tax treatments of various production workers
• A flexible attitude, able to multi-task with losing detail or accuracy
• A part-qualified accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA/ACCA Level 2 complete)
• An interest and excitement in working closely with a production team
