The person:

The ideal candidate should have a bias for action, high sense of partnership, and ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-paced environment. We are an easy going, but high functioning team that have fun while we work.

 

Key responsibilities:

Help prepare and track annual financials vs. plan, including operating expenses, resource planning, income statement, and capital plan as well as other periodic financial forecasting activities

Provide month end accounting and financial support as necessary including recording of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly forecast to actual analysis, and resource tracking

Work with business partners to build financial models to support the decision-making process as necessary

Provide cross-functional support and actively participate in specific business initiatives/projects and to help ensure financial goals are met

Use excel skills to drive efficiencies, improve reporting and automate tasks

Deliver Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, and projects on request

Follow all internal controls, regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, security standards in accordance with company, legal, and regulatory requirements

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Proven understanding of Microsoft Office, with sophisticated Excel skills
  • Interpersonal skills, both orally and written
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and high organization skills
  • Business and financial competence

 

Education and experience:

  • Finance professional with 2+ years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
