We are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join our Fixed Assets & Property team, to assist with the management of fixed assets and property portfolio accounting; helping to ensure robust financial control and reporting.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform fixed assets and property accounting month end tasks, ensuring journals are posted on a timely basis

• Updating the lease asset register with new leases and other changes relating to IFRS 16

• Carry out comprehensive reconciliations between source systems/databases, asset registers and the nominal ledger

• Support with capital expenditure requests and invoice approvals in line with CapEx policies and approval hierarchy

• Assist with budgeting & forecasting of depreciation and property costs such as rent and rates

• Assist in improving the financial control and reporting environment for Property, Plant & Equipment

• Provide information and insight to stakeholders (internal & external) as and when required

• Other ad hoc reporting duties as required

What are we looking for:

• Part-qualified ACCA or a equivalent accounting qualification

• Operating in an environment experiencing significant business process change

• Experience maintaining an asset register

• Strong Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Knowledge of IAS 16 - Property, Plant & Equipment

• Knowledge of IFRS 16 - Leases

• Well organised with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate at all levels

• Team player
