We are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join our Fixed Assets & Property team, to assist with the management of fixed assets and property portfolio accounting; helping to ensure robust financial control and reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
Perform fixed assets and property accounting month end tasks, ensuring journals are posted on a timely basis
Updating the lease asset register with new leases and other changes relating to IFRS 16
Carry out comprehensive reconciliations between source systems/databases, asset registers and the nominal ledger
Support with capital expenditure requests and invoice approvals in line with CapEx policies and approval hierarchy
Assist with budgeting & forecasting of depreciation and property costs such as rent and rates
Assist in improving the financial control and reporting environment for Property, Plant & Equipment
Provide information and insight to stakeholders (internal & external) as and when required
Other ad hoc reporting duties as required
What are we looking for:
Part-qualified ACCA or a equivalent accounting qualification
Operating in an environment experiencing significant business process change
Experience maintaining an asset register
Strong Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of IAS 16 - Property, Plant & Equipment
Knowledge of IFRS 16 - Leases
Well organised with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate at all levels
Team player
