The Field Support Specialist exists to assist in the timely coordination and implementation of all Woolworths planograms and the implementation of media assets on a national level for Woolworths Supermarkets. The role also acts as the liaison between internal Woolworths contacts and external agencies. Where necessary the Field Support Specialist will provide support to the wider Field Support Team.
Key accountabilities for the role
- Ensure a prompt response to enquiries relating to Field Support, Cartology and implementation.
- Maintain the database with information regarding Point of Sale (POS) not implemented.
- Provide the primary point of contact for vendors, suppliers and agencies for Compass
- Provide reporting on compass and system status updates.
- Provide insightful reporting on outstanding POG’s and schedules.
- Support Manager with the design and implementation of Compass (BAU).
- Ensure IT issues are addressed and closed out within a timely manner.
- Maintain training materials and manuals to include relevant business processes and protocols.
- Efficient communication management relating to installation with business teams and Field Support.
- Efficient and professional communication management with Agencies, Suppliers and Stores.
- Timely and Informative communication to stores and agencies regarding Point of Sale (POS) delivery and implementation.
- Communicate any implementation issues to and from Stores and Agencies and make recommendations including solutions.
- Issue store allocations to relevant buying teams.
- Ensure a high level of compliance aligned to business unit KPI’s across Media Hub implementation.

- Understanding of the end to end Planogram process.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the WOW buying team.
- Developing negotiation skills- an ability to reach mutually acceptable outcomes whilst maintaining the integrity of relationships.
- Empathetic to other parties needs and the ability to tailor offers to meet other parties needs whilst developing the best end to end outcome.
