About the Role The role of a Field Services Consultant (FSC) is crucial in ensuring all accounts are sufficiently staffed: the FSC provides temporary coverage ranging from Client Services Consultant (CSC) level up to Program Manager (PM) level, covering for planned absences, holidays and ad hoc requirements. Due to the nature of the role, the FSC must be able to adapt to different working environments, teams and practices, building a reputation as a trusted and reliable resource. Due to the nature of the role, the FSC may be required to travel, sometimes for extended periods and with little notice, ensuring our market leading clients receive an outstanding and seamless level of service.
The role involves working closely with representatives from the clients’ key corporate functions, taking briefings from hiring managers and liaising with third party suppliers to ensure roles are filled promptly and efficiently using ‘Wand’, our award winning, market leading software. Day in the Life A typical day may involve briefing suppliers, arranging interviews, discussing candidates with hiring managers and carrying out induction meetings for new starters – so strong organization, good communication and a positive attitude are essential As our clients often operate globally, this may involve working with clients and workers all over the world, so a consideration of different time zones and working practices is essential.
What You Will Do
• Provide coverage to any field role (CSC – PM) as required
• Maintain strong knowledge of all of PRO’s services – payroll, staffing desk, IC compliance, CCS, lifecycle (full training will be provided)
• Develop expert knowledge of WAND, and adapt this knowledge to any working environment
• Quickly develop an understanding of each client, their processes/SOPs, pricing structure and contract with PRO – maintain own records to ensure smooth assimilation and ensure take time to develop understanding when entering a new client
• Apply sound judgement and good decision-making skills when handling critical Employee Relations issues, requesting support and guidance as require
• Ensure agreed screening and pre-employment checks take place in line with client requirements • Maintain accurate and complete records for all in-scope worker
• Manage the end-to-end engagement of client-sourced talent with current client group including ensuring the worker is correctly processed through PRO payroll
• Work efficiently with approved staffing desk suppliers to maintain relationships
• Ensure appropriate information has been gathered to assess whether the worker is an Independent Contractor and carry out relevant checks to ensure compliance (utilizing PRO expertise as required)
• Provide great customer service support to client group
• Conduct critical training with all end users related to co-employment, harassment prevention, etc to ensure compliance and mitigate risk, when applicable
• Ensure consistent, and thorough communications to all involved parties What You Will Need
• Remote working but travel is expected across UK and EMEA
• Strong academic record
• Three years of experience working in a relevant area such as sales, marketing, staffing industry operations, HR/recruiting or customer service
• Good understanding of Agency Workers Regulations and how they apply to contingent workers
• Good practical knowledge of employment law’
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Working knowledge of a second language is an advantage
