The Division
The Chief Customer Office (CCO), a functional branch of Regional and Outer Metropolitan (ROM), is aimed at making NSW a better place to live, work and visit by delivering great customer experiences. Customer Service & Value Creation a branch within ROM, this branch is responsible for the uplift in the customer service experience program in the medium term and better outcomes for our ways of working through data driven decision making.
The opportunity
We have a Permanent Full Time Opportunity for a Feasibility Analyst to join the Customer Service Experience and Planning Branch. You will work collaboratively across the branch to help identify new opportunities to create customer value, build capacity and generate new revenue streams.
This role will deliver financial viability reviews, valuation assessments and competitor analysis to enable effective decision making on at times competing priorities. The role will require the ability to understand cost and value in different ways where traditional models may not allow effective decision making.
This position accommodates remote and flexible work practices across NSW, with the opportunity for you to work out of your nearest Regional or Outer Metropolitan office.
What you will be involved in
Your role will play a key part in defining the future experience of customers of Transport for NSW.
You will:
• Work collaboratively with other teams to create new and exciting proposals for improving customer experience in Regional Outer Metro
• Provide detailed and meaningful analytics of industry trends to inform best in class approaches.
• Analyse and interpret multiple data sources to define costs and benefits on traditional and non-traditional business cases including understanding of non-financial benefits.
• Create compelling business cases based on a variety of sources of information, including the creation and use of new metrics where traditional methods are absent or do not provide appropriate understanding.
About you
• You will be experienced in establishing new ways of working and helping to establish new functions.
• A creative commercial thinker, you will have the ability to work with ambiguity and the ability to establish and embed new processes.
• You will be a great communicator with a passion for people and customers
• You will be an active team player able to work flexibly across multiple competing priorities.
• An experienced analyst with demonstrated achievements in business, financial, economic and risk analysis and evaluation ideally in a commercial field and/or financial modelling.
