Job Description

Family Group Conference service is a well-established Barnardos's project delivered in partnership with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT)

Vacancies have arisen for sessional FGC Co-ordinators within our team.  We are looking for skilled and experienced workers who will undertake the FGC Co-ordinator training.

We provide support to parents/carers, families, children and young people from 0-18 within the community, using the Family Group Conference model to:-

  • Focus on the strengths and resources within each family network
  • Support family to be future focused and to bring together their own family plan to support their particular situation
  • Support children/young people to remain within their family network without risk of harm.

We are invested in working collaboratively with children, young people, families and professionals, using a strengths-based approach and skills, to support and enhance family life and ensure the safety and protection of the most vulnerable within society.

Salary: Â£550.00 per FGC and £20.00 per hour for other work 

Hours:  0 hours per week, as and when required.  Expect evening and weekend work.

Contract type: As and when/Sessional (post funded until end of March 2022)
