About the Team

The Data Architecture team is responsible for advanced data pipelines, high availability software architectures, and improving operations through integration and automation. We work with several different groups across AMD and are key to driving yield and performance distributions.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to support the Data Architecture team. Your contributions will span many areas, including service and application development, container management, and cloud infrastructure. As a key member of the team, you will have significant deliverables that will help us achieve our overall product goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing proofs of concept and prototypes for new technologies and algorithms
• Assisting software architects in analyzing and debugging critical application infrastructure
• Participating on cross-functional teams, working closely with product engineering
• Helping resolve production related issues

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Willingness to learn
• Ability to manage your time effectively
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Software development (including design, implementation, testing, and change management)
• Build and release management (preferred)
• Data engineering (preferred)
