Job Responsibilities

• Cycle-accurate core microarchitecture performance simulator development
• Workload and trace analysis, microarchitecture development
• RTL vs. performance model correlation, and/or post-silicon performance analysis.

Required Education and Skills

• Masters or Ph.D. candidates pursuing degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Strong computer architecture background through coursework and/or work experience
• Strong C++ programming and scripting language capabilities
• Strong familiarity working in Linux/Unix environment
• Candidate must be creative, self-motivated, and must work comfortably in a cross-site team environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cycle-accurate microarchitecture performance simulator development
• Experience with post-silicon performance analysis
• Familiarity with details of computing software, including operating systems, compilers, and applications
