As the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for onsite repairs and inspections of the facility and a variety of machinery. You will regularly troubleshoot, identify problems, and respond to maintenance requests.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and install electrical and pneumatic racks
- Build, test and install alarm control boxes
- Troubleshoot, identify and repair equipment in a safe a timely manner to keep downtime to a minimum
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, as needed
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all building systems and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Service and maintain R.O and D.I water systems
- Service and repair air compressors and air dryers
- Service, repair and upgrade waste water treatment system
- Provide ongoing verbal and written status updates to colleagues and facilities management
- Ability to graph data, collect data, report data using Building Automation Systems
- Maintain work environment and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Adhere to EH&S procedures and regulations
- Other misc. duties as required
Requirements:
Degree, diploma or certificate:
- Mechanical Engineering Technician
- Building Sciences Technician
- Building Automation Systems Technician
- Building Construction
- Building Environmental Systems
- Construction Engineering Technician
- Electro-Mechanical Technician
- HVAC Technician
- Water and Wastewater Technician
