What’s the role about?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Facilities Management team as a Facilities Assistant, Building Operations on a part time basis.
This role would suit someone who likes change, as every day is different in Facilities. You will be responsible for delivering all facilities related tasks across 5 office buildings on the Bracknell campus including Campus Mail Logistics - delivery of mail and parcels, carrying out internal and external building standards checks and working to resolve any issues.
The aim of our diverse Facilities team is to provide an office environment where Partners can thrive in their jobs by making the office space as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Whether it's about desk set up, meeting rooms or simple stationery availability we are the team to deliver outstanding service.
You will be responsible for delivering effective building management processes in order to maintain outstanding levels of service and a consistent safe working environment for Partners, Visitors and Contractors working in our Bracknelll Head Office Campus. This includes providing continuous high standards of service across the day to day Facilities Building Operations including internal and external logistics services.
Note: This is a part - time position for 22.5 hours, working 3 days a week. Pay will be prorated based on the scheduled working hours.
What will you be doing?
Customers:
Campus Mail logistics - delivering mail and parcels across Campus
Mailroom - Sorting Mail for delivery and collection, franking and entering deliveries on the mail logistics system
Function support - set up of furniture and resources to support meetings
Helpdesk - respond to service requests
Ensuring operational readiness of meeting rooms
Ensure that stockrooms are kept organised and tidy, assisting with stationary and other inventory stock checks as requested
Communication:
Generating and delivering brilliant and engaging communications through all the channels available (Intranet, Google Currents, Email)
Ensure all of the relevant notice boards are UpToDate displaying relevant information whilst meeting our legal obligations
Health, Safety and Risk Management
Assist in the inspection and compliance measurement of the Campus buildings ensuring the premises are being kept in good shape and report faulty equipment
In line with the Partnership procedures and policies take an interest in those working or visiting site ensuring security, safety, and compliance of all buildings and spaces reporting issues to support improvement
Act as an assistant to the Lead Fire Marshal during drills and evacuations
Play a vital role in the recovery of the business in case of service failure or other situation providing assistance where required to recover campus.

What you'll have
Knowledge of workplace and facilities management processes and obligations, health and safety and compliance requirements, a broad understanding of facilities management specialisms and the services it provides
Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Confident use of systems such as Google suite of applications
What else could you bring?
Full clean Driving Licence would be an advantage as may be required to drive company vehicles around the campus
H&S qualification (Institution of Occupational Health & Safety)
Experience in service delivery and Facilities
