What will you be doing?
To support Vodafone UK’s external communications plans, including campaign delivery, and measuring and reporting of results.
Focus on managing the press office function, including ensuring timely and accurate responses to all enquiries. Daily sharing of coverage of Vodafone and competitors.
Support for Vodafone’s device launch program, including pitching to media, and ongoing maintenance of Vodafone’s target media lists.
Ongoing tracking and reporting – on a monthly basis – of reputation metrics, to be shared with the UK board.
• Management of incoming press enquiries
• Ongoing tracking and reporting of reputation metrics
• Daily sharing of Vodafone and industry media coverage
• Media engagement, including building and maintenance of media contact lists
Who are we looking for?
• Strong writer and communicator
• Good attention to detail
• Passion for media relations
• Good understanding and experience of using social media
• High degree of competence with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Educated to degree level
• Marketing or Communications qualifications (desirable)
