Job Introduction

X-Ray is BBC Wales' high profile weekly consumer series, and is noted for its investigative journalism and creative films. The programme is looking for a highly-motivated Producer Director for its new series in the summer (May to late June).  

This PD will be making editorially complex films for the programme. You will need to be a creative and experienced self-shooter. You should have a strong journalistic background and/or experience from the consumer genre, as you will be dealing with company letters, and often tricky legal and editorial compliance issues. You will have the ability to craft punchy short-form films with creative treatments and humour, while identifying the complex editorial issues that sometimes arise.
