Three Rivers Contracting is an agricultural contracting business in Wyndham, Southland, New Zealand

Due to a growing workload we are looking for a friendly, positive and self-motivated individual to join our transport team with immediate start. We have modern trucks and cart a wide range of loads including but not limited to Aggregates, Silage, Bales, Fertiliser, Woodchip and Machinery. This is a great position for someone who loves variation in their work and likes doing local and longer haul runs.

The ability and flexibility to jump into other areas of our business during certain times of the year is advantageous.

We operate a modern fleet of equipment providing services for

• Baling
• Silage Harvesting
• Cultivation
• Direct Drilling
• Precision Planting
• Fodder beet Lifting
• Effluent Spreading
• Bulk Supplies/Cartage
• Feed Supplies.

Your duties will include

• Liaising with clients regarding loading and unloading times in a professional matter
• Operating and maintaining machinery to a high standard
• Weekend work will be required during the busy season

Requirements:

• 2 years practical experience with machinery in the agricultural sector is desirable but extra training is available to applicants who show potential.
• Class 5 heavy vehicle license essential
• Ability to work on your own and secure loads safely
• Be punctual, flexible, professional and be able to keep your paperwork in order.

There is the opportunity for the successful candidate to progress into management.
