Alderson Poultry Transport Limited, is one of New Zealand's largest family-owned poultry livestock freight companies. We have a growing fleet of late model trucks that are all serviced and maintained in-house and kept up to a high standard.

About the role…

• Transportation of poultry around the Auckland / Waikato region (driving only)
• Night shift role with varying start & finish times
• Average of 50 - 60 hours per week
• Working week - Sunday night to Friday morning
• Regular cleaning of truck to maintain professional image
• Strong focus on Health and Safety
• Competitive remuneration - $28-$30 per hour depending on experience.

What’s required in the role…

• Being punctual
• Good communication with team members and wider business
• Opportunity to pick up occasional Saturday shift (usually during peak season)
• Be compliant with health and safety regulations and logbook requirements.
• Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
• Must be able to pass a drug / alcohol test

This role would suit someone who…

• Has pride in representing the company and keeps their truck clean and tidy
• Has good experience in Class 5, as the role involves backing a truck and trailer unit and maneuvering around narrow farms
• Someone who wants to work locally – not a line-haul job
• Someone who communicates well
• Punctual and wears all issued uniform and PPE
