Job Description

My publicly traded client in the mining industry is looking for a dedicated Executive Assistant/ Office Manager (EA/OM) to join their team, directly supporting 3 of their C-suite level Executives. The successful Executive Assistant/ Office Manager will have an incredible opportunity to create a brand new office in Vancouver downtown as they will be relocating from Colorado, US. The Executive Assistant/ Office Manager will be instrumental in setting up a new office space, researching new vendors & suppliers, implementing new policies & procedures, and assisting with any HR duties.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management (3+)
  • Travel Arrangements
  • Assist with screening, interviewing and hiring process
  • Onboarding & Training new hires
  • Office Management including ordering new office supplies
  • Research new suppliers & vendors (including IT providers and benefits providers etc.)
  • Research new office space in Vancouver downtown
  • Schedule meetings and take minutes
  • Expense reports & reconciliation
  • Investor Relations including organizing PowerPoint presentations 


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3 -5 years of previous Executive Assistant/ Office Management experience supporting C-suite level Executives
  • Professional Services industry experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience setting up a new office is considered an asset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
