Experiential & Partnerships Executive- 12 month FTC

As an Experiential & Partnerships Executive you will support the Experiential and Sports Marketing Events Manager in the delivery of BMW UK Golf and eSport, as well as supporting other key events activity. Working with the UK team, central AG teams and agency partners to manage the existing portfolio of marketing partnerships from larger ‘always on’ headline partnerships to supporting affinity partner relationships across the key verticals of Arts & Culture, Lifestyle, Hotel and Airline.

  • This includes brands to brand relationships but also our BMW Friend of the Brand programme where we engage and work with talent, helping support event delivery and amplification. 
  • Support the creation, development and management of effective event, partnership and sponsorship solutions in line with the BMW marketing plan to support the brand and sales objectives. 
  • Support development and planning for experiential activities as required, including project managing bespoke elements to ensure professional planning and execution of all Experiential activities. 
  • Operationally responsible for managing and instructing a number of key agencies and suppliers to deliver events to the agreed plan. 
  • Assist with the communication and amplification of experiential activities working closely with Marketing Communications B-3 and Digitial Communications B2.
  • Support the delivery of specific key Sporting sponsorship engagements through local activation, communications strategy and operational execution. 

Qualifications

 

  • A degree, or equivalent, preferably in a Marketing or Business discipline
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Marketing events, communications or an appropriate communications / promotions role (client-side or agency).
  • Demonstrable project management ability including planning / organisation skills, delivery to deadlines with the ability to make decisions and own on own initiative.
  • Experience in the automotive industry and of working in a premium brand environment would be beneficial.
  • Experiences in people management and leading multiple external agency teams
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness, with a good knowledge of the automotive industry (including dealer bodies).
  • Understanding of creative processes including design, print, build and event execution.
  • Excellent organisation / management and budget planning skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • The ability to think creatively, analytically and strategically.
  • Collaborate closely with internal brand teams to ensure activity is integrated across channels (content, digital, social, PR) and consistent with overall marketing plan
  • Experience in purchasing processes, agency briefings and tender processes.
