Experiential & B2B Events Executive - 9 month FTC

As the Experiential & B2B Events Executive you will support two functions in the delivery of BMW UK Motorsport and BMW UK B2B Events, as well as supporting other key events activity.
 

• Support the Event Managers in the creation, development and execution of BMW’s Motorsport and B2B events and conferences in line with the BMW Marketing objectives.
• Support development and planning for experiential activities as required, including project managing bespoke elements to ensure professional planning and execution of all activities. 
• Assist with the communication and amplification of experiential activities working closely with Marketing Communications.
• Support the delivery of specific key sporting, arts & culture, conferences, incentives and digital events. 
• Supporting on the delivery of all key communications surrounding the events including, invites, social media, competitions etc.
• Support with direction & management of key agencies that are responsible for delivering the BMW events and brand experience for consumers, retailers and internal B2B events.

Qualifications

• A degree, or equivalent, preferably in an Event Marketing or Business discipline
• Minimum three years’ experience in Marketing events, (client-side or agency).
• Demonstrable project management ability including planning / organisation skills, delivery to deadlines with the ability to make decisions and own initiative.
• Experience in the automotive industry and of working in a premium brand environment would be beneficial.
• Experiences directing multiple external agency teams
• Understanding of creative processes including design, print, build and event execution.
• Excellent organisation / management and budget planning skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
• The ability to think creatively, analytically and strategically.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure activity is integrated across channels (content, digital, social, PR) and consistent with overall marketing plan.
• Experience in purchasing processes, agency briefings and tender processes would be beneficial
