We currently have the post(s) of Events Assistant available.

The role is a rare opportunity to work within Liverpool’s award-winning museum group which includes Walker Art Gallery, World Museum, Merseyside Maritime Museum and Museum of Liverpool. You will be part the commercial enterprise team as a front of house event assistant. We offer a wide range of responsibilities generally involving food and beverage service, setting up and de rigging event spaces.

This role is a zero-hour position on a permanent basis, therefore, is ideal for candidates who need flexibility. Day to day duties include, customer service, working as part of a great team, setting up and service of conference and events, service of food & drinks, maximising opportunities to upsell and bar work (preparing, serving, till work and cleaning down).

The position involves assisting in the delivery of exceptionally high event standards with an emphasis on friendly, efficient customer service, to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all clients and guests. The rota consists of a mixture of evening, daytime and weekend work.in a variety of different styles of event, working with a mixture of clients. Assisting in maintaining the venue to company standards and withhold the reputation of National Museums Liverpool
