Position Summary:

Hours: 37.5 per week.

Position Summary
The Environment Management Technical Specialist will working in the Environment Management Team and will specialize in building and supporting Cloud based services and supporting services in the Non-Production estate
 
Key Responsibilities
·         Using technologies principles such as Cloud and DevSecOps design and build solutions to support the non-production estate
·         Support environment management toolset (e.g. Delphix) and identify opportunities for innovation
·         Working in collaboration with Platform Engineering, Development and Testing Teams define a strategy for managing a cloud-based non-production estate  
·         Support the transition from Waterfall to Agile ways of working for Environment Management
 
Job requirements
The ideal candidate for this job will have courses and/or relevant work experience in some or all of the following skills:
·         Experience working with multiple cloud technologies (including Azure) and the supporting software stack
·         Experience of delivering solutions using Infrastructure As Code (Terraform preferred)
·         An appreciation for IT Service Management role
·         Experience of the Software Development Lifecycle
·         Service Now API integration experience, specifically integrating to terraform/Jenkins
·         Basic understanding of networks
·         Experience writing Jenkins pipelines for automation
