Our internal facing team is responsible for the planning and design of the overall vision when it comes to PwC products, accelerators and overall enterprise initiatives. We provide strategic and solution architecture direction in all aspects as we build out solutions for our business.
Reporting to the Chief Architect, a career in Development, within our Products & Technology organization, will provide you with the opportunity to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build solutions for the growing digital market. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other intellectual property based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will strategize, design, implement technology solutions helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

What you’ll create and do
As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as a part of a team of problem solvers, helping solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Security Domain and Solution Architecture (80%)
Provide oversight for the continued development of the enterprise cyber security strategy through alignment with the enterprise security architecture
Create security architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals
Perform current and future state architectural review and control gap assessments against existing and planned security services, processes and technologies
Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (e.g., patterns, models, templates, standards, workflows) that can be used to integrate security requirements in projects & operations
Provide guidance on security architecture, practices & solutions to help business units to build & deliver solutions that meet security requirements
Actively support the implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and compliance management of the Enterprise Architecture
Proactively assist the Enterprise Architects and the Chief Architect in assessing technology solutions
Design secure applications or services within the organization
Define security requirements
Lead the development of projects executed by our Development teams, and oversee and assess the development executed by Vendor’s teams
Execute periodical code reviews
Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
Supervise and support Vendor’s developers in the context of projects
Continuous Improvement (20%)
Be actively involved in planned or unplanned business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to improve our internal development and design techniques and maintain our documentation up to date
Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand
Continue to grow personal skills in alignment with the Company and team Strategy
Has worked extensively in large scale software solution implementations with hands-on experience
Experience working in agile teams and with product delivery
What you’ll bring to this role

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Azure/Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) preferred
Microsoft Development Certifications preferred
Security Certifications required. One of the following: CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CSSLP
TOGAF certification preferred
Perform security assessments of third party and internal applications and networks to define security requirements, and evaluating processes, network designs, and access controls
Collaborate with developers, system/network administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure correct design, development, and implementation of applications and networks
Drive end-to-end architecture across security product offerings and lead the execution of critical architectural priorities for senior technology leaders to develop secure products
Demonstrated performance of security design/architecture reviews, code reviews, and penetration tests of large applications, systems and/or networks
Solution the development of projects executed by our Development teams, and oversee and assess the development executed by Vendor’s teams
Experience overseeing remediation of vulnerabilities and defining security requirements and a proven track record of working with infrastructure and development teams to build secure solutions
Cloud-ready architectures utilizing infrastructure and platform cloud services for Azure, AWS, GCP
Service-oriented, event-driven and microservices architectures
Mobile/Web architecture stacks
Persistence such as RDBMS/NoSQL (MS SQL, Mongo DB) data stores and appropriate use cases
Containerization, and experience in using Docker and/or Kubernetes
DevOps such as CD/CI, virtualization, automation, continuous integration
Experience with Agile methodologies
Ability to understand the big picture and also delve into details
Strong problem solving and leadership skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication when working with product teams and working with end customers to understand and analyze feedback
Understands client’s needs, actively ensuring projects are on time and delivered above expectation
Determines cadence with practice and client
