Network Operations offer support for Corporate & Broadcast networks

What you’ll do:

• Tier 2/3 diagnostics of network during operational incidents
• Network monitoring and routine upgrades
• Provide effective and efficient support to infrastructure services
• Build relationship with all broadcast technology teams
• Collaborative troubleshooting with support teams from across Sky
• Change management and Planned works as part of an extended day shift pattern with on call.
• Testing; Operational Readiness, Service Migration and Failover
• Adhere to support processes and procedures

What you’ll bring:

• A deep understanding of IP networks with experience in an enterprise environment
• Deep knowledge of the following technologies: IP routing and switching, Application layer firewalls, Load balancers
• Experience of network and application fixing to packet level
• A real drive to learn and add more to your abilities and broaden your knowledge of relevant technologies

Enterprise Networks

Our team are responsible for delivering networks to our corporate and broadcast teams and or focus is to deliver best in class service in terms of innovation and stability to our customers within Sky. Corporate network delivery is key to whole company productivity and operation and is therefore a key component of Sky’s technology, whilst our Broadcast networks deliver both traditional linear content plus increasingly IP delivered content to our world beating home entertainment products.
