NT Engineering is a business servicing the Northland region with workshops in Whangarei and Waipapa. With heavy involvement in manufacturing, earthmoving and agricultural industries, we offer customers precision and general engineering and full mechanical services from our commercial premises as well as on-site servicing.  We are involved in all aspects of heavy engineering fabrication, from small one off jobs to large turn/key projects, including plant maintenance and repairs, and shut down work. 

We currently have a vacancy in our Whangarei workshop for an appropriately Qualified Tradesperson to lead our motivated team. If you enjoy working on a huge variety of projects and have workshop management skills, then this position is for you.

• You’re a trade qualified fabricator-welder/engineer with 10 years’ experience.
• You’ve supervised or managed staff or run your own business.
• You easily build team rapport and offer direction and guidance to work colleagues where needed.
• You have excellent communication skills with employees, customers and business owners.
• You’re reliable, highly motivated and have excellent time management skills.
• You have NZ residency or valid NZ work visa and a current driver’s licence.
