As a DDG Engineer you will join a team responsible for facilitating, supporting and protecting the effective use and availability of DDG systems, applications, interfaces and infrastructure. These systems are critical to enabling NZDF mission outcomes.
As one of the Engineers, you will be responsible for providing support for incidents, problems and changes. You will have key involvement in the development of new products and product enhancements as part of a DevOps team. You will work, from time to time, with other product teams to ensure that mutually beneficial goals are achieved.
A typical day will be varied as the technical environment. This means your first challenge will be to get up to speed with the plethora of systems that we use, however, you'll work with a supportive team and manager who will ensure you get plenty of on the job training and development.
Please note this role is based at Devonport Naval Base.

This could suit you if you are an intermediate level systems engineer with a good mix of applications and infrastructure experience.
You will be someone who takes pride in your methodical diagnostic and investigation techniques, ability to think out of the box and can do attitude.
