We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the Luxe HR Retail team for a 3-6 month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver excellent Employee Relations support to Field Area Retail Managers
- Effective coordination, coaching and risk-management of a high volume of employee relations cases including; probationary periods, absence, disciplinary & grievances and capability processes. Working in collaboration with HR Retail Partners and Retail Directors on the most sensitive cases.
- Day to day coaching of the people management ability of Area Managers to improve their level of capability and independence.
- Work with the HR Retail Partners to train and develop the Area Managers, including creating content and delivering training.
- Meet regularly with the retail management teams to share analysis, highlight trends & identify insights from employee relations data.
- Lead and support various employee relations initiatives across the retail business.
- Employee Relations development, such as: policies, Line Manager guidance documents, template letters, meeting scripts.
Who we’re looking for…
- Previous experience in an HR/ER Advisor role, with strong employee relations experience, ideally within a large team
- Studying or recently qualified CIPD (preferable)
- Ideally, experience in Retail or FMCG companies – or companies with high levels of change and pace
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise and adapt
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to retain knowledge
- Proactive, confident and enthusiastic
- Ability to treat all matters with absolute confidentiality and integrity
- A professional, diplomatic and friendly manner
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Good PC skills with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Self-confidence and willingness to take full ownership of role
