Job Summary:
The Employee Relations Policy Lead will sit within the EMEA HR Policy team and will support the implementation and ongoing updating of HR policies across EMEA well as supporting other policy harmonisation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an inventory of policy changes in flight and target dates for completion
- Tracking and oversight of policy review dates to ensure that the relevant periodic review is conducted within the appropriate timeframe, supporting the Policy manager in planning and prioritizing policy review activity
- Support the HR policy team in obtain the relevant legal advice on any proposed policy changes
- Support the HR policy team in process of obtaining approval for any country specific exceptions that need to be included within global HR policies
- Provide oversight and management of any Corrective Action Plan (CAPs) resulting during any policy implementation project
- Provide project management support in implementing global policy harmonisation projects and in ongoing regional policy projects
- Support change management and communication required as a result of any new / updates to HR policy
- Support in ensuring that policies are appropriately translated where required
- Create relevant project materials to support regular updates to senior HR and other stakeholders on policy implementations
- Support the wider Employee Relations team with ad-hoc reporting requests and data analysis
- Represent the Employee Relations team in regional projects, coordinating deliverables across the wider team
Competencies/Skills:
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
- Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
- Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
- Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Extensive project management experience – preferably from a financial services or human resources environment
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Relevant Project management qualification desirable
