Job Description

Role Summary: 

  • In alignment with the Global WHS, Risk & Compliance team, drive successful delivery of regional strategic programs
  • Implement & embed the global / regional risk and compliance strategy in line with the contract, continuous improvement, and account needs.
  • Act as ‘Trusted Risk & Compliance Advisor’ and subject matter expert to the regional team, including CRE and end user stakeholders, in relation to risk & compliance
  • Lead regional risk reviews including the support of controls, action tracking and timely closure of risks and actions and escalation to the Global Lead - where required
  • Ability to operate independently at a regional level to drive and manage the regional risk & assurance programs in collaboration with the regional CBRE account team
  • Lead and oversee all regional assurance programs, including overdue assessments and annual reviews to drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare and complete internal account audits in alignment to the global assurance program and verify that corrective action plans are in place, complete and meet governance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve regional governance reporting by use of account technology and data insights
  • Ensure delivery of contractual commitments including reporting, service delivery and KPI compliance.
  • Ensure consistency of delivery through standardisation of processes, training and awareness.
  • Contribute to successful delivery of account performance through identification of service efficiencies.
  • Engage with peer groups across CBRE to develop strong networks to identify improvements for the account and contribute to success of the wider organisation

Experience Required: 

  • Relevant demonstrable compliance experience in a large multinational organization
  • Previous experience in corporate real estate operations is strongly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to identify potential strategic risks and issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and work ethic
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience of risk and compliance programs
  • Effective team player
  • Operational experience in a commercial real estate environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders (written & verbal skills)
  • Highly developed analytical and planning skills
  • Experienced in reporting dashboards e.g. Power BI, MyVantage
