With business growth and success, we have a newly created opportunity for a 3 Water Electrician to join our team. This is an integral role to support growth across Automation and the wider Downer NZ business.

 About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a high performing team carrying out maintenance work across water, wastewater and stormwater. Reporting to the Contract Supervisor you will be required to carry out maintenance, repairs and renewal work, promptly and efficiently and in accordance with the contract requirements. This will include afterhours call out works to respond to faults across Tauranga. You will assist with planning and scheduling the planned activities and presenting proactive solutions to the client to improve service levels to the end customer.

 About you:

• Qualified Electrician – Industrial experience highly desirable
• Current and full NZ Practicing Electrical Licence
• Committed to ensuring electrical compliance is maintained and documented
• Knowledge of PLC programming, software modifications, and fault finding
• Excellent communication and commitment to team goals
• Self-motivated, energetic, proactive and results-orientated
• Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
• High level of computer literacy
• Ability to plan jobs , operate and maintain equipment
