We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, 0800 - 1700 Monday to Friday
As Electrical Maintenance Manager you will take responsibility for the management of electrical planned, reactive and corrective maintenance of HV and LV electrical systems. To take responsibility for the day-to-day
management of site day-work electricians. To enable the electrical department to meet or exceed SLA’s and KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Specifics:
Manage employees and contractors in delivery of electrical planned, reactive and corrective maintenance
Manage employees and contractors in delivery of electrical installation, test and inspection work
Apply security and H&S policies to yourself, your employees and contractors alike
Support project delivery team in preparation of specifications for, and to undertake costing of, extra works.
Develop and maintain day-to-day contact with client representatives in delivery of works.
Be available to provide cross team support as necessary.
Be aware of hard services performance trends to identify risk and opportunity improvements.
Ensure all electrical tasks are completed within the required time period to enable contractual compliance.
Check quality of works delivered by staff and subcontractors addressing issues identified to ensure a high standard of delivery.
Be prepared to work unsociable hours as demands dictate
Undertake auditing, review productivity, drive innovation and quality within service delivery in area of responsibility.
Address all HR issues from direct reports involving line manager / HR team where appropriate.
Deputise for other managers as and when required.
Be available to assist in solving project-related problem matters, as they arise.
Optimise the use of the electrical team to cover all opportunities that may arise for additional business.
Ability to read, understand and apply technical input to detailed CAD drawings.

Support in providing technical detail that enables successful handover of extra works.
Corporate:
Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives.
Act as a G4S ambassador in all interactions with client and contractor representatives.
Adhere to corporate security policies.
Identify training and development to satisfy corporate objectives and define succession plans.
Ensure the professional attitude and image in all aspects of service delivery throughout all your team.
DV clearance will be required to fulfil this role.
Essential Criteria:
Supervisory experience.
Five years’ experience in the appropriate work area.
Recognised relevant qualifications.
Experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment.
Google familiarity.
IOSH supervising safely or similar.
Understanding of CDM Regulations.
