Exciting opportunity to work as a Maintenance Engineer at our manufacturing site in Stockport has become available. The goal is to roll out total productive maintenance across the site and assist the Maintenance Engineering Manager in his daily duties. You will have the ability to assist in driving a world class manufacturing and plant maintenance. 

How you will do it

Compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy requirements within area of responsibility.
Assist in the daily operations of a busy machining and manufacturing site. 
Respond to maintenance, breakdowns and project work. 
Ability to create asset care plans and TPM schedules based on equipment knowledge. 
Working closely with the Maintenance Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Quality Manager, Process Engineers and Production Operators.
Communicating at all levels, electronically and verbally.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and effective fault finding on critical production equipment.

Plan and carry out repair, improvement and preventative maintenance work on all production equipment.

Effective supervision of subcontractor activities as required.

Identification of continuous improvement of plant, equipment and systems.

Effective logging and documentation of reactive and planned maintenance tasks.

Support with Planned Maintenance activities during the production Shut down periods.

Create and update maintenance and equipment procedures.

Maintain and organise all asset documentation.

What we look for:

Required:

Qualification in Electrical Engineering with mechanical and process skills a must.

PLC Programming/Fault Finding Experience (Siemens S5/S7)
Full exposure to maintenance, breakdowns, repairs and mechanical engineering
Driven, confident and have a CAN DO attitude.
Experience of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems e.g. Shire / Maximo)

Fault finding.

Preferred:

AutoCAD would be advantageous but not essential.
Minimum ONC and fully apprenticeship trained.
