eCommerce Merchandiser â€“ General Merchandise

Our Online teams strive for excellence every single day, working to manage the nuts-and-bolts of the day-to-day operation, as well as leaving no stone un-turned to improve our Website and App journey, right through to our doorstep experience for our customers. 

As an eCommerce Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the customer can find the right product, in the right place, at the right time. You will need to react to the fast paced nature of online grocery to ensure our customers receive an optimal shopping experience. 

The Ins and Outs: 

• Reporting into the eCommerce Merchandising Manager you will be responsible for product merchandising, content and category strategy initiatives across General Merchandise  
• Ensuring the ease of shop and customer journey through search, favourites, navigational solutions and other website space 
• Building collaborative relationships with trading teams to develop online specific strategies 
• Delivering against category sales plans 
• Working collaboratively with the E-commerce Supply, Operations and Store Teams to ensure end to end efficiency of sales 
• Implementing range change & promotional activity on the website in line with store 
• Working collaboratively with the Merchandising Development team to deliver category strategy initiatives such as Customer Shopping Solutions supported through additional content 
• Working collaboratively with the Development team to test changes to the website and support the use of new features and functionality 
• Daily use of our in-house Product and Content Management Systems 

 What we are looking for:

• Ability to work in the faced paced online grocery space, dealing with changing market influences and trends 
• Experience in interpreting and communicating either commercial or web analytics data 
• An ability to work cross-functionally 
• Ability to plan and execute a critical path 
• A results-driven focus 
• Strong communication skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel 
• High level of attention to detail 
• A customer-centric approach to online retailing 
• An understanding and passion of the grocery market (online experience would be advantageous) 
• Experience with a CMS and Web Analytics tools
