Who We Are:
Export and Agency Finance (EAF) is part of the industry leading Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) division of Citi. EAF arranges short, medium and long term structured financings (primarily focused on the longer end) and provides export financing advice to clients globally.
EAF operates as a global platform to lead, arrange, participate and syndicate bespoke structured financings that manage risk through credit and political risk support from sovereign agencies and/or accessing their funding programs.
We are seeking a transactor within the EAF Central and Eastern Europe & Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan (CEE & RUK) Team.
You will have the responsibility to support the CEE & RUK team in the whole life cycle of deals (primarily ECA backed corporate finance loans) from origination, structuring and approvals through to client negotiation and execution, mainly focused on borrowers located in the coverage region. Additionally, with agency (Hermes and SERV) and exporter coverage responsibilities, the successful candidate will be a key member of deals teams for global opportunities wherever they may be located in the world.

Experience Needed for Success
The successful candidate will have i) prior experience of structuring and executing term debt financing, ii) strong credit and analytical skills iii) have German as a native language, excellent English and ideally other strong language skills, iv) prior experience with Hermes / SERV covered financing (alongside other ECA, Multilateral Ageny and DFI financing).
