Role: ECommerce Analyst

Function: Whitbread Restaurants

Location: Dunstable - we have a fantastic hybrid working environment, you’ll need to be in the office at least 2 days per week but the rest of your week can be flexible to what works best for you and your role.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Up to £37,000 plus benefits & Bonus

We have a new opportunity for an E-Commerce Analyst in our Whitbread Restaurants team. This role is expected to provide critical analytical decision support that will ultimately drive improved sales and gross profit performance for six Whitbread Restaurant Brands.

What you will be doing:

• Data driven evaluation of commercial initiatives and projects
• End-to-end support to ensure commercial initiatives are fully
• Understood and to minimise any risk associated to their delivery
• Support analysis within testing and iterative optimisation workstreams
• Championing the use of digital data sets and tools to colleagues outside of Digital Analytics

Why we’d love you to apply:

• Understands how projects are set-up and managed
• Basic understanding of retail ecommerce including internet advertising and customer retention
• Outstanding academics (strong A-level and 2:1 from a leading University) in a science/ engineering/economics/maths discipline OR relevant academic qualification with related work experience (e.g. apprenticeship, National Diploma etc)
• Advanced excel, basic statistical techniques
• Highly numerate, ability to manipulate and draw conclusions from data
• Highly committed and willing to learn
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload
• Clear communication of insights and reports and not afraid to be challenged by stakeholders
• Experience (minimum 1 year) of working in a highly analytical role – corporate or consulting/ professional services
