Job Description
The Role:
- Work with programs such as AutoCAD software
- Read and interpret architectural drawings
- Develop drawings from site measurements and approved shop drawings
- Check and verify design drawings to adhere to specifications and design data
- Check and verify the design of 2D drawings and 3D models
- Work independently and in a team environment from concept to completion
- Know the product lines of various door, window and curtain wall producers
Qualifications
- College Diploma or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years as architectural technologist in façade industry
- Experience working in the window wall, curtain wall a must and railing industry an asset
- Experience creating detailed and complete shop drawings
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
