The Director collaborates with many roles across Sky to deliver and maintain the high standards of our Sky Sports output. We’re looking for creative individuals with a keen eye for detail to join our team and enhance our world class output across all platforms. What you’ll do:

• The director role will be studio based at Osterley, working potentially across both our live sports and automated environments with opportunities of travel and work on outside broadcasts.
• Work closely with the Senior Director to help shape the department’s direction and strategy
• Swiftly evaluate, decide, and implement rapid changes effectively through succinct and clear communication.
• Make sound decisions that always focus on what matters to our customer.
• Drive an environment where people are treated with integrity and respect, people feel their contribution is recognised and valued, and where flexibility & innovation is encouraged.
• You’ll lead by example, reflecting the Sky values, to create a high performing inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and creativity, empowering people to succeed.
• Follow & participate in Sky’s objective to be a safe and healthy workplace
• Uphold company, legal and compliance guidelines.
• Be an ambassador for Sky Sports at all times.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of working on live cricket productions would be preferable as the role will primarily be working with our award-winning cricket team
• A good working knowledge of multi-camera directing, lighting, sound, graphics, media content delivery and auto-cue.
• Experience of working within sports productions across a variety of platforms, both TV and Digital
• A passion for sport, predominantly cricket, and a desire to work closely with the director team to produce world class sports output

Osterley:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
