Director, Client Ecosystem and Deal Strategy - 128945
THE ROLE:
The Director, Client ecosystem and deals strategy is a high visibility leadership role and a key trusted advisor to client business leadership of AMD. The individual will have the opportunity to utilize your experience and expertise to identify AMD’s business and technology opportunities and drive them into action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders do develop and continuously refine AMD client ecosystem strategy
- Develop business plans, investment plans and acquisition strategy to support new technology and ecosystem development initiatives
- Identify and pursue multi-generation and multi-discipline deals across client business unit to build ecosystem
- Lead and execute successful transactions including deal negotiation, structuring, due-diligence, financial modeling, integration, and project management
- Partnership and negotiation with ecosystem partners to secure component development and production volume
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Differentiated experience with one or more of the following markets – PC, Mobile, Datacenter, IOT, enterprise hardware. Broad expertise in the relevant market – components, ecosystem players, devices
- 5+ years of Engineering or product development in a technology company
- 5+ years of strategy or banking experience. Will consider applicants with experience in tier-1 management consulting, equity research analyst at top tier institution or corporate/BU, strategy at technology company
- Track record of innovation, identification of emerging technologies, creativity in solving technical and operational challenges
- Experience with working on several simultaneous projects and taking them from concept to delivery and adoption
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- BS and/or MS degree in Electrical or computer Engineering
- Master’s degree in Business from a top tier university
